Goldfish
As we all know Goldfish are domesticated fish,If not the first one. They need a good and healthy environment,Which means they need quite a lot of care,Though there are ways to do this more efficiently and in less time.
Goldfish may grow up to 59cm and 4.5kg,Though it's usually just half of that. They can also live up to 6-40 years,Mostly around 8 years.
Goldfish first appeared as 'Carp' which are silver in color and were domesticated in China,And their color mutated to Red,Orange,Yellow and so on..
In ponds Goldfish need the hole to be at least 85 cm deep and full of plants as it helps for feeding them and increasing the oxygen level in the water.Sometimes the Goldfish become unactive though this is normal if the pond doesn't freeze,They should become active again when it becomes warmer.
In aquariums a Goldfish requires quite a lot of water (Around 10 Gallons per Adult Goldfish) and a water filter,As they release many toxins and faeces into the water so they need the aquarium to be constantly cleaned and full of oxygen,But be careful not to touch them with your hands as it can damage the Goldfish and allow bacteria to enter their body.
You have to be careful when feeding your Goldfish,You must not overfeed them or it can be very fatal to them.
Goldfish will start reacting to you as soon as they get to know you,They could come to the top of the water surface and wait for you to feed them or even come close to the glass of the aquarium,They just need time,But again be careful not to touch them.
Goldfish live in fresh water and need a pH of 6.0-8.0 and a temperature of 4–41 °C,and no more then 20m deep ponds.
Goldfish are egg layers. They produce that attach to plants in the water and the eggs hatch within 48 to 72 hours.
